‘Comedy Night’ and ‘Church’ aren’t usually words you’ll find in the same sentence, but then again, Andy Kind isn’t your usual type of comedian. A Christian, and a critically-acclaimed professional stand-up, Andy’s comedy is said to blend joyful exuberance with the “playful ranting of a man on the wrong side of 30.”

We are delighted that Andy will be taking centre stage at Westminster Chapel for a free, one-off comedy night on Monday, 9th September 2013. We’re inviting all our members, friends and family, neighbours, passers-by; as many people as possible to fill up our church and come and have a good laugh on us. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm (ish) start, and we’d love to see you there!

You can read more about Andy below, or just show up on the night. Click here for directions to our building, which is near to both Victoria and St James’s Park station.

Andy is a professional stand-up comedian. He has been part of the comedy circuit since January 2005. In that time he has performed all over the country, winning awards and acclaim as he goes. Since winning ‘Anything for Laffs’, he has gone on to be recognised as one of the warmest and most engaging comperes in British comedy. Add to this a love of ad-libbing and super-strong stage presence, and you have the prospect of a great night’s entertainment.

Described by The Scotsman as ‘Terrific’, and by BBC online as ‘A future star’, Andy has been featured on BBC1, ITV, Channel 4 and national radio. In addition, he has been asked to support the likes of Tim Vine and Milton Jones on their national tours.

We are thrilled that Andy has offered to visit our church and would love you to bring family and friends along. No need to RSVP, just show up at 7pm to get a good seat. You can also email [email protected] for more information, or follow Andy on Twitter @andykindcomedy. See you then!
