Westminster Chapel’s Youth Ministry exists to reveal God to non-Christian young people and families and to equip young people to grow deeper in love for God, to enjoy being with other Christian believers and to experience God’s power in their lives.

We greatly value young people, their families and the wider communities in which they live.

Over the years, we’ve sought to:

  • Develop teaching content that is culturally relevant and addresses the Gospel;
  • Train our volunteers to build strong and accountable relationships with the young people we care for;
  • Put in place great resources, to facilitate our aims and objectives;
  • Develop relationships with local high schools, in order to have a greater impact in the area;
  • Take our young people away on a residential, at least once a year.

On Sundays, our team of committed volunteers runs the following activities. These comprise a mix of games, crafts, quizzes, worship, multi-media presentations, small group discussions and age-appropriate Bible teaching. These groups operate during morning service sermon.

  • Momentum (Ages 10-14)
  • Mobilise (Ages 14+)
