Westminster Chapel is privileged to work with CAP (Christians Against Poverty). Sadly our Debt Centre is temporarily closed, but will reopen in 2020. If you need help immediately then please ring CAP free on 0800 328 0006 and they should be able to give you some advice.
Christians Against Poverty is an award winning, national debt counselling charity offering free help and advice through a network of debt centres based in the local church. CAP offers hope and a solution to people in debt through its top-quality, in-depth service, as well as help finding employment through CAP Job Clubs, freedom from life controlling dependencies through CAP Release Groups and financial education through the CAP Money Course.
The CAP Money Course
The CAP Money Course is a free course to help people manage their money better and learn to budget, save and spend well.
The CAP Money Course features DVD presentations by John Kirkby, the Founder and International Director of CAP. CAP trains volunteers from local churches to be CAP Money Coaches, who will then work through individual budgets with delegates.

“The welcome that I received at the first meeting of the CAP Money Course was so very friendly and put me at my ease straight away. Since attending the course, my credit card has become redundant. I have used the three account philosophy to great effect. I will be starting the new decade with no money owing on my credits cards and I could not be in a better position. I owe it all to the simple but very effective CAP Money Course.” Andrea Singleton
“I tried to commit suicide all thanks to my stupidity with money, but we were kept going by the prayers and love of friends. We were put on the CAP Money Course and, for me especially, it changed my life.” Mandy Dixon
