At the Chapel we are seeking to build a strong, welcoming and connected community. We realise how hard it is to form deep friendships in London, and this can even be the case at church. We use The City to help our members communicate and connect, and it’s also a great tool for getting important messages out there about what’s going on within the wider church.
It’s basically an online social network… but you won’t find loads of adverts and YouTube videos of cats. Its purpose is to enhance real life community within the church: to connect people more easily, to communicate more effectively and to build stronger community. Life Groups can use The City to organise gatherings and share prayer requests, our serving teams can organise themselves on The City, and The City provides a great way for new people to get connected and find out what’s going on in the life of the church.
The City is for everyone who wants to connect with others at Chapel and keep up-to-date with what’s going on in the life of the church…. so basically, The City is for everyone! Newcomers to the Chapel can use The City to find others in the church with shared interests or to find contact details for their nearest Life Group. There’s a special group for new people too, which will enable us to connect better with you and get to know you.
