CITYLIFEGROUPS
CityLifeGroups are the hub of friendship, discipleship and evangelism at Westminster Chapel.
What?
CityLifeGroups are small groups of 8-12 people that meet during the week in people's homes across London. Meetings last around 90 minutes, starting with sharing a meal together, and include prayer, equipping for evangelism and a Bible study on the previous Sunday's preaching.
Why?
We believe that small groups are part of a Biblical model for church life - large gatherings on a Sunday are complemented by small groups in homes.
"Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:46-47)
When and where?
CityLifeGroups meet every fortnight, usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday night - but times and days vary depending on the group you are in. They meet across the capital, including some student groups that meet in central London.
Who can join?
CityLifeGroups are open to everyone, whether you are new to Chapel or a long-standing member. Please note that there are dedicated Student CityLifeGroups available.
Which one should I join?
We want you to feel really at home with your group and so choose the one that is most convenient for you in terms of where you live or work, or when the group meets.
Don't worry if the first group you go to doesn't feel quite right, you can try another and find one which really suits you.
