THE CITY

"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you."

It's clear that Jesus commands his followers to love one another like he has loved us. He means an authentic love, sharing day-to-day life in a way that helps each other grow and brings glory to God.

What may not be clear is how we are to go about loving one another. With many of us scattered across our fast-paced capital city, loving one another is something we all want to do but it doesn't happen by accident.

We all want to be part of a loving community at Westminster Chapel, but the question is how? We believe the City will help to make this a reality.

The City is our church's social networking site. It is not a replacement for community but a tool to help us to get into each other's lives and spend quality time together. Your CLG will use the City to organise meetings and stay in touch. You can keep up with the latest news from the church and prayer items. The leadership team and ministry leaders will use the City to communicate with you, and it will provide a simple means for you to keep your contact info up-to-date. You can even share how God is working in your life.

In short, the City will function as a hub of communication and activity for Westminster Chapel as we seek to love one another and witness God's love to a broken city.
