HOWARD SATTERTHWAITE
Howard became a Christian whilst studying law at Nottingham University shortly after his 21st birthday. Since then he's: done two 6 month internships, at the Christian Centre, Nottingham and at a CLEAR, a Christian legal aid and education project in Nairobi, Kenya; practised as a barrister, specialising in crime...err...criminal law; co-founded and chaired a small charity (Philemon Ministries); volunteered at a death penalty defence law firm in America; studied a Masters in Human Rights law; and spent 4 years working as The Lawyers' Christian Fellowship's Student and Young Lawyers' Director.
He came on staff as our Executive Director in September 2009 and is currently studying part-time for a PgDip in Voluntary Sector Management at Cass Business School's Centre for Charity Effectiveness. His role focuses on vision implementation, strategy and staff and resource management.
He has a surprising testimony about how he came to faith in Jesus that involves pride, Prozac and plastic surgery (see the article below for details).
He loves Jesus and his wife, Holly, and is a West Wing addict with a very sweet tooth who likes to play tennis.
