Andrew felt a call to pastoral ministry as a boy, and so studied Theology in London in preparation for the ministry. He has been working full-time at Chapel since 2007 - the same year he got married to (the amazing) Sie Yan, while she was studying medicine.

Andrew was born in Winchester, where his dad (Greg) was pastoring. Sadly, as a boy he did not develop to become an accomplished sportsman, having neither good coordination nor swift reaction-speed on the field. So he took up guitar instead. Unfortunately, his guitar skills did not grow far beyond your typical three-chord charismatic chorus. But at least he tried. He retired from worship-leading to "focus on spending more time with people"...

Although Andrew's library does not compete with his dad's, he likes to think that he could win an arm-wrestling competition against him. And that's what counts.
